Millstone was founded in 1999, and has been an active cooperative housing unit ever since. The house itself is an 8-bedroom space, but we've had up to 12 (!) people living here at any one time. At Millstone, we share chores and other responsibilities, as well as many of our meals. House members prepare and serve vegetarian dinners three times per week, and guests and friends are always welcome for dinner or for one of our community brunches. We value local community, social justice, diversity, and environmental sustainability, and we try to make choices in what we buy, eat, and do that reflect these values.
