    About Good Earth CSA

    Good Earth CSA is an organic farm in Westboro, MA. The farm is located on six acres of leased land, 1.1 miles east of Westboro Center on Route 135, behind St. Luke's cemetery. Westboro is a 45-minute drive on the Mass Pike (I-90) from Boston.

    Sue Andersen, the founding farmer of Good Earth CSA, is starting her ninth year as a full-time farmer.

    The farm is managed organically, which means:

    • no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or fertilizers are used;
    • sustainable practices--such as crop rotation, fertilizing with compost and manures, and cover cropping--respect soil fertility and the farm ecosystem; and
    • safe food for consumers, a safe work place for farmers, and a healthy environment.
