Hometree
Hometree is a home for mutual support and acceptance, living together in an ecologically sound way, fostering community in our neighborhood, and maintaining a comfortable place to live welcoming to guests and children.
Hometree is part of the Pueblo initiative, which seeks to create a community land trust in Egleston Square.
In a Nutshell:
Pueblo is an aspiring community land trust dedicated to fostering a healthy and sustainable future in Egleston Square, Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, and the New England region.
Since it was founded, Pueblo has reached out to neighbors in a number of ways including educational events, neighborhood meetings and gardening workshops. These efforts spawned the Egleston Community Orchard, launched in the summer of 2010.
Pueblo is still very much in a formative stage and looking for active neighbors to help. Please contact us if you have time and skills to offer.
