We had some friends over for dinner the other night, and one of them asked "wait, so what's the difference between a co-op and a normal group house?" At the time we said that the main difference was that, as a co-op, we had more sign-up sheets and also more whiteboards. And a mailing list.

We're a set of people who, for whatever reason, think that it's pretty interesting and important to think hard and act consciously with respect to the way(s) we live our day-to-day lives.

There's more to it than that, but we're pretty new to West Somerville, and we're figuring it out as we go along!
